Sandor Sipos, multidisciplinary artist, completed a four year university degree in sculpture and visual art education.
"The human problematic/condition humaine and spirituality remain the main subject of his drawings. His works draw on influences such as popular naive art of the Transylvanian region and sacred Byzantine art.
Considering the technical and formal aspects, and undertaking the risk of interpretability, one could get closer by introducing the proper antithesis of concepts such as: rational/irrational, trivial/sacred, including the archaic primitive elements of contemporary cultures. Thus each pictorial element being a stylistic motive: whether a photo, a figural stamp, gold colour, delicate gesture, calligraphy or simple sketching. They all gain symbolic meaning, opening an associative field thus one could say 'symbolized life and manifestations.'"
