Born in Budapest, Hungary, 1953. Lives and works in Canada since 1988.
Miklós Rogan grew up in an artistic environment, both parents are graphic artists. He started to paint at an early age. During his teens he turned to music. After graduating from the Béla Bartók Music Conservatory he became a music teacher. In 1988 he emigrated to Canada and worked in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver before moving to Montreal (2000).
From the nineties he started to paint again, exhibiting his works both in North America and in Europe. In1994 he received the "Best of Show Award " in the Cornwall Regional Art Gallery's annual art show. His first European exhibition was organized by the Galerie am Opernrig in Vienna, Austria. His works are represented by the Galerie Lamoureux Ritzenhoff in Montreal and Galerie Atelier T in Vienna .
